Welcome

Welcome to Elmers End Free Church – a beacon of Christian faith, hope and love for our community. We offer an intimate and hospitable place for worship, prayer, meditation and simply meeting one another – and
the hospitality comes from God.

Whoever you are, we invite you to join us in experiencing the love of God, the humanity of Jesus and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

Our roots in Elmers End go back 150 years, and our present building
nearly a century. After a bruising time during Covid – for us as
individuals and for the community around us – Jesus has given us a
second wind and we are reaching out once again.

We aim to be a church where people can journey together and explore faith issues in an open, non-judgmental climate. Maybe we can help you further on your spiritual journey – or enable you to take the first steps. None of us is perfect; we can draw strength from each other and you are welcome to come in and join us, whatever your challenges. To us, that is what being inclusive means.

As a church, we also look outwards. We collect donations for our local food bank, and are staging fundraising events for Doctors Without Borders, our charity for 2025. We spread the word of God’s love for us, not house-to-house but by welcoming in those people who see our doors open and come in out of curiosity.

We would love to welcome you to one of our services. We meet every
Sunday at 11.00 am.
